Well this has got to be the most asked question of the past week and we can reveal that there are some simple ways that you can begin to change your golfing style so that in no time at all you will be of a similar standard to open champion Darren Clarke. So lets focus on exactly what YOU can do personally to change your standard and up the anti so to speak. Read on to learn more about how Darren rates his performance out on the green and all about what difference some simple changes can make to your game today. Darren clarke is now infamous due to his recent open win but what exactly does he think about all the fuss and how keen is he to repeat his victory come the next open?We all know a lot of prep goes into getting ready for the big comp so how does Darren Clarke feel about it now its all over? "I've looked at the trophy all night and sort of semi figured out it's mine," added Clarke, the Open's oldest champion since Roberto de Vicenzo, 44, at Hoylake in 1967."I probably won't get any sleep until tomorrow at some stage. [You] have to enjoy it when you can. It's been a very good night."I have 294 [text] messages and the writing is far too small for me to look at them in this state, so I may look at them tomorrow at some stage and figure them out."Does this all sound good to you? Is it making you smell the scent of victory and do you want to start the learning curve to become as good as Darren clarke out on the course? Well we have some sneaky tips that might just save your blushes when it comes to club champs time at your club.
So how did Darren Clarke manage his win??Well after having a sneaky chat backstage it seems he has made it clear that he is a fun of golf gps units and laser rangefinders, some golf pros don鈥檛 seem keen t admit that they like to use the units when nt playing in major comps but it seems Darren clarke is as keen as the next person to admit to being a bushnell, garmin or golfbuddy fan. If your keen to mimic Darren Clarkes success then surely a likely starting platform would be to indulge in a new golf gps unit from golfgps??The collection of golfbuddy rangefinders is now so immense that it includes some great money saving offers such as the best selling favorites the golfbuddy world platinum, this is akin to the Skycaddie sgx in terms of style and usability. A firm favorite with Darren clarke and other pros has to be the bushnell hybrid, this top selling golf gps and golf laser rangefinder Is clearly the very best unit on the planet. So if you want to join the likes out Darren clarke and co this is clearly the way forward. |

Golf Is voted top sport for wayward teens
Are you starting to worry about how you will survive the long hot summer with an errant teenage son at your feet? Or maybe his behaviour has launched out of control in recent months and your keen to keep him under wraps, and away from trouble this Summer. Well at long last we have the answer, yes it doesn鈥檛 come in the form of expensive gap year holidays to China, no its all about being pro active and finding a way to occupy his mind this summer so he makes the decision himself to stay out of trouble.
Ok so read onto discover exactly how you can make him make the right choices this summer and become one of the most popular young men in his community. Sport if often thought of as a complicated affair, with many teens seeing it as yet another way to step into some form of competing for social higher archer. With arguments coming in thick and fast on the football field and recent arguments witnessed at Wimbledon we can safely say that many parents may be put off the idea of their son playing some sport this summer, but we are pleased to be able to offer you an alternative form of sport that will give your son a summer of fun, help him make new peers and guide him in the right direction.
So what exactly is this new miracle cure for wayward sons? Well were pleased to say its not a new found miracle but a classic sport that has often been overlooked by teens and traditionally seen as a sport for gentleman. So now we will reveal one of the best kept secrets that has seen many boys become men, yes its that simple its all about GOLF. Yes this simple sport is now seen as one of the best ways to help troubled teens overcome their problems and follow a path that is straight and narrow.. With golf discipline is learnt and respect for your elders is a common theme amongst the golfing community. So now we will factor the money equation into the subject, if you want to get your son really hooked on golf then theres one thing you will need and thats something shiny and flash to leer them in.
Where not expecting you to fork out on another I phone or X box, no what were suggesting is the very latest in golf gps rangefinders these one of these devices the Golf buddy world has been designed especially for the younger generation of golfers keen to get their hands on a new sport but without having to spend months swatting up on techniques. We have found this unit has proved to be particularly popular with the younger generation, we have tested it out with a team of teens and they seem to have been swayed into thinking that this unit is akin to the Iphone in terms of looks and features. But we think its alot healthier for teens to be out in the fresh air playing golf than getting bleary eyed starring at a screen all day. |

So we all know that this week the infamous and most competitive event of the golfing calender year starts this week, thats right the US Open and we at GOLFGPS are so excited for it!! The stage is set for what hopefully might be a British winner (not biased or anything!!) as inform Luke Donald looks like he could steal the show.
The groups have been named and Luke Donald and Lee Westwood the world number one/two are paired in the same group as Martin Kaymer the number three for the first two rounds. Recently in May Donald, 33 managed to knock out his Ryder Cup team mate at the PGA championship playoff in Wentworth. It was from this he too knocked the 38 year old off his number one perch. We wonder if he will maintain it after the championships.
The GPS' that will be on show are going to be fantastic. We all know many of the stars these days accept a Laser or GPS rangefinder will vastly improve their game, with a split decision on the most popular style. Sergio Garcia is a huge admirer of the路Bushnell rangefinders, pictured in the Bushnell Tournament Edition路advertisement. Camilo Villegas is a fan of the Bushnell rangefinder too, but he is a fan of the sleaker路Bushnell Tour V2 Pinseeker路model, quoted to say it possess' "perfect magnification" for his game.
Then there is the Nikon range. Both of these units have come as the possible front runners in the Laser rangefinder world with the pros and magnification abilities. Paul Casey is a huge fan of the路Nikon rangefinder range, currently spotted sporting the fantastic路Nikon 350G. Graeme McDowell has recently admitted to finding the路Nikon 1000AS a stunning addition to his golf kit as the photos show on our Nikon range.

However mainly a US model though a huge hit with us at GOLFGPS the Leupold range is not to be missed out. With four models now to choose from including an optional faceplate with the Leupold GX-4 they really are value for money. Padraig Harrington has been photographed recently with his Leupold GX-1 in-hand and quoted to say it is a "unique accessory to the golfing world."
So we've spoken of the attraction to the top laser rangefinders but what about the GPS'? Shotmiser have introduced a new range of units to the GPS world that are looking to knock Golf Buddy off their perch. The top spec Shotmiser G700 has shot up the charts and into Lee Westwoods pocket, what makes this unit so popular is the builit-in Sat Nav that Snooper have always used.

However Luke Donald refuses to put his Golf Buddy World down. He has the World Platinum but like all men we want the newest model on the market whatever electrical gadget it might be. With its compact design and 40,000+ preloaded course library it's all he'll ever need.
Then there is the Callaway MX. This unit has reaffirmed Callaways rights as a front runner in the GPS market and only available in the UK from us at GOLFGPS.
