Everybody is aware of the Bushnell range, they have been around as long as rangefinders have been in the golfing world, producing top spec units for the avid golfer.

They began tentalising us with the GPS units Yardage Pro XG and Yardage Pro XGC, these were the beginning of GPS systems for us golfers offering us critical target information for all our favourite courses and revolutionising our game at the touch fo a button. The systems offered a clear 2.2″ display and could store 20 courses enough for any of us to hold all our local and Europeans favourites.
We then move on through time although not too far before the new method of distance rangefinders were created, the laser rangefinder. In simple terms “A·laser rangefinder is a device which uses a laser beam to determine the distance to an object”. Therefore the user would use magnification through a lense to determine the distance to the flagstick or any hazard on the course whether it’s the front, middle or back of the green. The range of laser rangefinders from Bushnell is one of the largest of its kind, offering different levels of magnification and ergonomical sizes to suit the user.

All the Bushnell laser rangefinders·offer two modes for the user, Scan and Pinseeker. Scan mode is the basic option for locating fast, easy and accurate fairway readings. Delve a little deeper for Pinseeker mode to locate objects on the course and more indepth information that may hinder your game if not logged correctly. These two modes are offered on all their laser rangefinders which all also offer the user measurements in yards and metres.

Take the Tour V2 for example also offered in the Tour V2 Slope Edition. These units are the smaller laser rangefinder fitting like a glove into the one hand use and seen as the “best seller” in the laser range. With yardage readings upto 1000 yards away it will offer the user a range suitable for even the largest courses in the world today. The V2′s are seen as the more eye-catching, aesthetically pleasing rangefinders.

Then there is the Bushnell 1600 Tournament Edition and Bushnell 1600 Slope Edition rangefinders. Both these units have a larger 7x magnification offering a further yardage distance if required and 1 yard accuracy reading. These units are completely waterproof and offer a twist-up metal eyepiece and an oversized ocular to make using the device considerably simpler if wearing glasses or sunglasses whilst playing. These units are slightly larger than their siblings and may not look as attractive, but ease of use will be clear to see.

The Bushnell Medalist is another rangefinder in the laser range. It’s less expensive and attractive than others, offering lower yardage readings still upto 1000 and is weather resistant.
The laser rangefinders are top spec units and come in all shapes and sized and if laser searching is your thing over satellite imagery and video flyovers these are the units for you.

We then are proud to introduce the first revolutionised 2 in 1 GPS/Laser rangefinder on the market today the Bushnell Hybrid. The Bushnell Hybrid is as stated a combination of a GPS navigation system complemented by a 1000 yardage range laser. The GPS boasts an auto course recognition, a shot distance calculator and upto 4 custom points per hole.·
·It contains a 3-volt rechargeable lithium battery and the wonderful Pinseeker technology like all their laser rangefinders, 5x magnification and is completely rainproof. This unit is a true masterclass and sure to be the start of bigger and better things to come, currently it has left it’s rival quaking in their boots and far behind as technology goes.
Just take a step back and look at how rangefinders in the golfing industry has changed and if you want to see the future, currently Bushnell are top of the charts, we are proud to represent selling these superb units and already are eagely anticipating the next best thing!
